Stayza feature guide
Moderated accommodation reviews
Stayza lets eligible identity-reviewed seekers submit accommodation reviews. A moderator checks each review before publication. Hosts can respond publicly, and readers can mark reviews as helpful.
Who can submit a review
Review submission requires a signed-in seeker account that meets the verification requirements. Owner and admin accounts cannot submit seeker reviews. Identity review associates a person with an account; it is not proof of a completed booking or tenancy.
What moderation means
Pending reviews are not public. Approved reviews appear on the listing and count towards its rating. Reviews held for further checks or removed by moderators are not included in the public feed. A published review remains the author's account of their experience.
Read the detail behind the rating
Look at the number and dates of reviews, the written comments, category ratings where supplied, and any owner response. One opinion is not a guarantee of present conditions. A listing with no reviews should not be treated as having a positive rating.
How to use it
- Read the Reviews & Ratings section on a listing.
- Sign in with an eligible seeker account to write a review.
- Submit relevant feedback for moderation and check its status in your dashboard.
Common questions
Does a verified reviewer mean a verified tenant?
No. Reviewer verification concerns the account's identity requirements. It does not establish that Stayza verified a completed stay or rental contract.
Do new reviews appear immediately?
No. A moderator reviews submissions before publication. Pending or held reviews are not part of the public listing rating.
