Making hostel hunting trustworthy.
Stayza exists because students deserve better than fake listings and hidden prices.
Why we built Stayza
Finding student accommodation can mean comparing scattered listings, checking whether photos match the property, and asking which charges the advertised rent includes. Stayza brings listing information and direct host contact together so seekers can make a more informed shortlist before visiting.
Stayza reviews host identity and listing information. Approval requires a passed live-video property review or an approved physical inspection. Video Verified identifies a remote review; Stayza Inspected identifies an in-person visit. These checks record observations and do not certify safety or legal ownership.
Read how verification worksWhat makes us different
A platform engineered around rigorous verification rather than ad revenue.
Two-Tier Verification
A passed live-video review or approved physical inspection is required for approval. Each badge identifies the check recorded for that property.
Photo Comparisons
Reviewers compare listing photographs with what they observe on a video call or an in-person visit. Physical visits also document conditions with photographs.
Availability Freshness
Owner availability confirmations expire to unconfirmed after 14 days without an update. A recent confirmation still needs checking for your particular room.
Expanding Cities
Explore accommodation by city and university. Available listings vary by location.
How verification works
A four-step framework built to protect students from misleading listings.
Owner applies
Owners submit their property details through our listing form and select a plan.
Live video verification
Our reviewer observes the property remotely and compares it with the listing. A passed call is the standard requirement; an approved physical inspection can satisfy it instead.
Optional physical inspection
An approved in-person visit records observable conditions and visit photographs, earning Stayza Inspected. It is not a safety or regulatory certification.
Listing goes live
Approved listings get their Video Verified badge (or the stronger Stayza Inspected badge, if earned) and appear in search results with transparent terms.
Abdul Rehman
Stayza was founded by Abdul Rehman, a Computer Science student at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST). Driven by the friction of searching for student housing in Islamabad, he built Stayza to create a reliable, verified, and transparent marketplace.
Learn More About Abdul Rehman"Finding accommodation shouldn't require visiting dozens of properties or relying on unreliable information. My vision is to build a platform where anyone can discover verified accommodation with confidence, transparency, and ease."
