Stayza feature guide
Verified listings on Stayza
Stayza reviews identity and listing information and requires a passed live-video verification or an approved physical inspection before approving a listing. The badges describe specific checks; they are not a guarantee of a tenancy or property safety.
What verification tells you
Identity review associates the host account with the person who submitted identity documents. Address checks assess the consistency of the submitted location. A property review compares what the reviewer observes with the listing. Read each badge and its date rather than treating all checks as equivalent.
Video review and an in-person visit
Live-video verification is the standard property review. An approved physical inspection can satisfy the approval requirement instead. Stayza Inspected identifies an in-person visit, while Video Verified identifies a remote call. A paid owner subscription does not buy either trust badge.
Before agreeing to a tenancy
Confirm the room, current price, deposit, included bills, availability and rental terms directly with the host. Identity review does not establish legal property ownership or authority to rent. Verification does not certify structural, electrical, fire or other safety standards.
How to use it
- Open a listing and read its verification labels.
- Check the recorded review dates and current availability status.
- Ask the host about the exact room and arrange a visit before deciding.
Common questions
Does verified mean Stayza owns the property?
No. Stayza is an accommodation discovery directory. Independent hosts provide the accommodation and agree tenancy terms directly with seekers.
Can an owner pay for a verification badge?
No. Listing subscriptions and promotional placement are separate from verification. A badge requires the relevant review outcome.
