Students and other seekers can browse, search, compare listings and contact hosts without paying Stayza a commission or booking fee. Accommodation itself is paid for under the terms agreed with the host.
What is free for seekers
Stayza's discovery and contact tools do not add a student commission to the rental price. You can assess listings and contact the host directly. Stayza does not process a room booking or take a share of the rent.
Rent and owner charges still apply
Zero Stayza commission does not mean free housing or no deposit. Ask the host for a breakdown of rent, security deposit, utility bills, meals and any other charges, along with refund and notice terms, before making a commitment.
How the platform is funded
Stayza offers owner listing subscriptions. Subscription tiers can affect listing limits, analytics and promotional placement. Verification and inspection badges depend on checks rather than the owner's subscription tier.
